Description

Drone safety nets ensure the safety of drone cages, so that hobby pilots can test new models and their flight characteristics at trade fairs or in electronics markets without risk. Another use for these nets is the ever more popular drone races. It must be ensured that runaway flying objects do not injure pilots or spectators - while also maximizing the visibility of the event.

The basic fibre of this net is already designed to be flame-retardant, so that this one can also be deployed outdoors without losing its flame-retardant properties. The material has been tested accordingly and fulfils the requirements of DIN 4102 (class B1, flame-resistant materials).

 

Choose one of the above colors and enter the desired length and width into the appropriate fields. The surface area, weight and price of the net will then be automatically calculated and shown.

 

The net has a border measuring approx. 7 mm in thickness all around (see sample picture). An additional rope is sewn/linked to the border mesh. The border gives the net a neat outer edge on all sides and simultaneously ensures stable, stress-resistant anchorage points. The border and all seams are executed in the same color as the net.

The safety net consists of woven, deep-dyed polypropylene filament yarn. This is a highly tearproof and stable synthetic fibre. Thanks to the knotless weave, which is no less stable than a knotted connection, the net keeps its shape perfectly.

The material is of course 100% non-toxic, and contact with mucus membranes (mouth, eyes) is completely safe as well. Thanks to their weather-resistance and UV-stability, our safety nets are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

We used the nets for the first time at one of our indoor drone events and were amazed at the good quality and workmanship. We were particularly surprised by the tensile strength of the mesh. Even the anchor points that we had to set between the meshes using cable ties left no marks. Another positive aspect was the minimal obstruction of view for spectators. The nets are extremely inconspicuous and guarantee a clear field of vision. We have constructed a freely hanging protective cage from a total of five individual nets in order to safely test UAS systems and sensors in inner-city areas. The nets are light and very precisely manufactured. The chain on the edge is stable enough to be able to stretch the entire cage (6.3m x 6.3m x 4m) onto it. Die Netze sind leicht und sehr präzise gefertigt. Die Kettelung am Rand ist stabil genug, um den kompletten Käfig (6,3m x 6,3m x 4m) daran aufspannen zu können. Wir sind sehr zufrieden."
