Triangular ski slope nets are always used in places where skiers need effective protection from obstacles on ski slopes. Triangular nets can also be deployed on the slopes both during normal slope operation and at alpine sporting events.

In skiing, the triangular ski slope net is categorised as a ski slope safety net and demarcation net. In alpine sports, it is mandated by the International Ski Federation (FIS) for securing the area of the slope. According to the FIS guidelines, the triangular net is obligatory safety equipment.
Triangular ski slope nets are used to cover small groups of trees, piles of stones – or, most often – ski lift masts. They signal to skiers from a distance that an object on the slope is being secured. The signal color orange ensures appropriate visibility. If it comes to the worst and a skier collides with the object, it has been made sufficiently safe by means of additional shock-absorbing elements.
Safetynet365 offers triangular nets in different sizes. Depending on what object needs to be secured, they are available in a width of 2.50 m for e.g. ski lift masts or 6 m for groups of trees. Their vertical height is always 6 m.
In addition, you can choose between mesh sizes of between 70 and 100 mm. The former conforms to International Ski Federation regulations. Along the bottom edge of the safety net are five thimbles for anchoring it; a thimble is also integrated into the tip of the triangle. At 3,200 N, the maximum tensile strength of the mesh lies just slightly below that of the ski slope safety nets for flexible posts, and offers sufficient energy absorption in the event of crashes.
