Conveyor belt safety nets are used to secure materials and goods on conveyor belts. The conveyor belt nets are attached to the side and underneath conveyor belts to catch any falling goods. They therefore not only protect the materials, but also the workers on the conveyor belt.

Conveyor belts have been an environmentally friendly, safe and effective means of transport for companies in mining and industry for decades. However, if something should go wrong when transporting goods on a conveyor belt and goods are ejected or fall off, for example on bends, conveyor belt safety nets can help. These high-strength safety nets are installed next to and under the conveyor belt and not only catch falling goods safely and protect them from damage, but also protect workers in the vicinity of the conveyor technology.
In contrast to static grids, our protective nets have the great advantage that objects are caught softly, which minimises damage to the transported goods. The elasticity of the protective net means that nothing is damaged up to a certain mesh tensile force. Depending on the design, this is between 800 N for a material thickness of 2.3 mm and 3200 N for 5 mm. The latter maximum tensile force is particularly suitable for heavy objects. Small and light goods, on the other hand, are already caught by the former model in combination with a small mesh width.
Note: The conveyor belt safety net is only used to catch falling goods and is not suitable for catching people. Special fall safety nets in accordance with the EN standard can also be found in our shop.
The high-strength, knotless polypropylene has proven itself as the material for the safety net, which is available in various colours. Thanks to the UV and weather resistance of the material, our safety nets are not only suitable for use in factories and warehouses, but also for years of outdoor use.
Our high-strength conveyor belt nets are available in different mesh sizes - depending on the goods and objects you want to protect from falling. Mesh widths of 20 mm, 45 mm, 100 mm and 200 mm are possible. A webbing net version is available for mesh widths from 100 mm.
Note: Conveyor belt nets only protect people and materials in the event of falling goods. They are not suitable for protecting conveyor technology, such as drive rollers or conveyor belt idlers - only mesh panelling can help here. Always follow the instructions on conveyor belt safety.
With Safetynet365, you can configure your customised conveyor belt safety net in any size. Simply select the product with the desired mesh size and material thickness and then enter the length and width - the net area, weight and price are calculated and displayed automatically. Your customised, high-strength and knotless safety net will then be delivered to your home in just a few days.
Suitable accessories and other products for attaching the conveyor belt net can also be found at Safetynet365.
