Play Area Safety Net by the m² (Custom-Made)

We use the net as a cheap solution to separate the garden from the driveway because of our small child, without having to build a permanent fence. We stretch it between a few posts with hooks on it so that it can be quickly dismantled (e.g. for mowing the lawn).

The net corresponds quite well to the ordered dimensions (13m*80cm) when it is stretched. The edge is neatly tied in. To avoid having to place the posts too close together, we have woven a rope in a matching color through the outer row of meshes. This way it constricts less between the posts and you can stretch it firmly. Stretching is important with this type of net because it contracts more strongly on its own. If you want it to be rectangular, you have to stretch it at fairly small intervals along the edge. When stretched, it is then quite robust.
The meshes are small enough (5cm) that a child cannot climb up in them. The 80 cm height is enough for us as an adult to just about climb over the lower (collapsed) parts.

The quality is decent, the delivery was a little quicker than announced for the custom-made product. In beige it looks quite friendly despite the plastic (hemp color). I'm curious about how durable it will be in the sun, but I think it will definitely last the two or three years that we need it.

Will man es rechteckig haben, muss man in eher kleinen Abständen am Rand spannen. Gespannt ist es dann recht robust.
Die Maschen sind klein genug (5cm), dass ein Kind darin nicht hochsteigen kann. Die 80 cm Höhe reichen bei uns, um als Erwachsener an den niedrigeren (zusammengezogenen) Stellen gerade noch so darüber zu steigen.

Die Qualität ist ordentlich, die Lieferung war knapp schneller, als für die Maßanfertigung angekündigt. In Beige sieht es so trotz Plastik recht freundlich aus (Hanffarben). Auf die Dauerhaftigkeit in der Sonne bin ich gespannt, aber die zwei, drei Jahre, die wir es brauchen, wird es denke ich auf jeden Fall durchhalten.
