It is also noticeable that in some places, mainly due to knots on the end edge caused by the weaving, there are splits, but this is more of a cosmetic problem. However, my main complaint is that the thread ends at the joined corners of the end edge were neither knotted, secured with pressed lead nor melted, and would therefore probably have given way under the growing weight of the plant mass at some point. A wire rope clamp and shrink tubing helped to remedy this, and I fixed or concealed the splits with black cable ties. Bemängeln muss ich jedoch vor allem, dass die Fadenenden an den zusammengefügten Ecken der Abschlusskante weder verknotet, mit verpresstem Blei gesichert oder verschmolzen wurden und somit unter der wachsenden Last der Pflanzenmasse irgendwann vermutlich nachgegeben hätte. Abhilfe schaffte hier eine Drahtseilklemme und Schrumpfschlauch, die Aufsplissungen fixierte bzw. kaschierte ich mit schwarzen Kabelbindern. Alles in Allem bin ich aber zufrieden, die fertigungsbedinge Lieferzeit ist nachvollziehbar und die Versandkosten angemessen."
