Material

The so called hercules rope used has an outer diameter of 5 mm. It consists of a 2.5 mm thick steel rope core and a braided polyester cover. The material used is weather-resistant, UV-stabilised and particularly abrasion-resistant.

The material is of course 100% non-toxic and contact with mucous membranes (mouth, eyes) is completely harmless. Thanks to their weather resistance and UV stabilisation, our safety nets are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

Border Design

The edges of the steel wire mesh are closed as standard. As the ropes run around the corner, the net has a loop between every two nodes. The end point of a rope is led back to the starting point and pressed with aluminium clamps. Depending on the overall size and aspect ratio, the net can consist of one or more individual steel cables.

Vandalism-Resistance

Due to the galvanised steel wire rope at its core, the safety net is extremely cut-resistant and vandal-proof without losing the appearance of a classic textile net.

Sound-Absorbing Characteristics

The polyester coating and the plastic clip design give the net material good sound-absorbing properties. This is particularly advantageous when used as a ball catching system in populated areas or city centres. Impacting balls generate considerably less noise than would be the case with a bar mat fence or wire mesh, for example.
