In order to attach a safety net to a loft bed, we screwed on stainless steel brackets and then threaded the snap hooks through the mesh of the safety net and then clamped them into the stainless steel...

We use the snap hooks to open or close the entrance to the loft bed with the safety net. The only drawback: the snap hook closure sometimes gets caught in the net when opening.
