The privacy net is usually deployed as a fence screen mounted on wire-mesh fences. If plot and land owners feel uncomfortably exposed to their neighbours’ gaze, the net is additionally installed on the existing garden fence as a screen net. The eyelets integrated into the fence screen at intervals of 50 cm make this an easy task. The privacy net also creates shade, so that it protects plants growing next to the fence from excessively strong sun. Shading nets can also be installed on terraces and balconies, for example to protect children playing there from sunburn. Conversely, on cool days shade and screen nets also function as excellent windbreaks.
