Description

Configure your own individual made-to-measure climbing net. Choose one of the above colors and enter the desired measurements into the appropriate fields. Please also select the type and model of your preferred anchorage system. The surface area and price of the net will then be automatically calculated and shown. The size of the edge mesh can vary. The size is adjusted in such a way that the mesh fits the ordered size, while preventing ensnarement points.

Material

The Hercules rope used (Ø 16 mm) consists of in-core 8 mm-thick polypropylene rope, which is wound round by six 2.4 mm-thick twisted steel ropes. These are in turn each sheathed in 6 mm-thick polyester yarn. The material used is designed to be weather-resistant, UV stable and highly abrasion-proof. In addition, the finished cordage has been treated with a colorless impregnation. It is therefore possible to guarantee many years of operation even under continuous loading. The individual ropes are connected together by plastic balls of HDPE, inside which the ropes cross and are screwed together. The round shape without corners and edges ensures smooth running, while at the same time preventing the occurrence of jamming points between the ropes. The mesh is prevented from slipping out of place by the screw connection. The material is of course 100% non-toxic, and contact with mucus membranes (mouth, eyes) is completely safe as well. Thanks to their weather-resistance and UV-stability, our climbing nets are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

Border Design

You can choose between various types of anchorage for the border (see table below). Depending on the type of mesh, these are directly pressure-grouted (aluminium clamp) or screwed to the rope-ends of the net. Please always state the basic frame measurements for the nets. The measurements relate to the distance from one anchorage point to the next.

Safety Standards

Our climbing nets fulfil all the requirements of the European Standards for Playground Equipment EN 1176. The number of meshes and the size of the border mesh have been adjusted in such a way that they cannot create ensnarement points for head and torso.
