My insider tip for pool owners: Instead of the smelly plastic film and a lot of effort and accessories, I stretch an air-permeable tarpaulin over my pool. Made to measure to the centimeter. Cleanly sewn, see picture. And with precisely fitting eyes. To solve the snow problem, you need a few tent anchors (Obi) and a rubber rope.
The net is simply great, the dirt stays outside, the water can "breathe", when it thaws the water goes through the net and you don't need pool cushions or anything similar so that the cover film isn't dented. This saves me a lot of time and money.

ÜBRIGENDS man kann im Sommer über der Poolfolie das Netz spannen, da bleibt die Poolfolie sauber und das Netz ist schnell abgenommen, ich erwähne dass - man muss das Netz natürlich grösser bestellen, damit der Aufrollmechanismus der Poolheizung unter das Netz passt. Der Erwärmung tut das keinen Abbruch, und ich muss nicht dauernd den Pool saugen.

Hello, I bought the tarpaulin for my carport (7 m x 1.7 m). It has been exposed to the elements since winter 17/18 and it has met my expectations. It keeps out snow and rain and offers nice shade even when the sun is shining. Because it is slightly air-permeable, there is no build-up of heat and moisture can also dry.
